My stay at The Condado Plaza Hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location is fantastic, right by the beach, but the room quality left a lot to be desired. The noise from neighboring rooms was disruptive, and the overall upkeep felt more like a budget hotel rather than a Hilton. I did appreciate the friendly staff and lovely lobby area, but I likely won't be returning due to the issues I encountered.

Rooms
5.0
The walls in my room were paper thin, and I could hear everything from the neighbors, which was super annoying. Plus, the furniture looked outdated, and some items were in poor condition. Just didn’t feel like a Hilton vibe, you know?
Service
5.0
While some of the staff, especially at the pool, were friendly and attentive, my experience at check-in fell flat. The front desk was not very helpful, and the communication regarding room assignments was messy and frustrating.

I loved the hotel's location in a safe area and the proximity to the beach. There’s a lot to explore nearby, which definitely made the stay a bit better.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a bit of a hassle since most restaurants weren’t open when I needed them. I found the prices to be high for the quality of the food offered as well.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area was nice and well-kept, but I noticed some facilities were lacking maintenance, like broken elevators and outdated pool bars. It really brought down the vibe of the hotel.

5.0/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Condado Plaza Hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short ride to Old San Juan and beaches, and I really enjoyed the beautiful pool area with its two large pools and a hot tub. However, the condition of the rooms was disappointing, with issues like outdated furnishings and uncomfortable beds that impacted my experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in needed upgrades, with chipped paint and an uncomfortable mattress. I also noticed cleanliness issues with linens and the outside furniture.
Service
6.0
The front desk staff were friendly, but I felt overlooked as a Hilton Honors member. There were also long waits for assistance, particularly regarding my room situation.
Location

The hotel's location is unbeatable! It's close to the beach and just a short bike ride to attractions like Old San Juan, which I loved.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was a bit of a hassle since we had to walk to the sister hotel. While the food was tasty, some pricing felt steep for what you got.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was a highlight, with plenty of amenities like a swim-up bar. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable during my stay and there was only one working elevator for a good part of my visit.

6.4/10

I stayed at The Condado Plaza Hotel, and it had its ups and downs. The location was great, right by the beach, which I really enjoyed. However, the hotel itself felt dated and tired, and the services were limited, like the restaurants being closed for most of my stay. I found the room clean and comfortable, but there were issues with maintenance that really brought my experience down.

Rooms
6.0
The room I had was renovated and very nice, but I did encounter some maintenance issues like a leaking faucet. It seemed clean overall, but there were some stains on the curtains.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were courteous but seemed overwhelmed and not particularly helpful when I had issues with my room. It took a while to address maintenance concerns.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a prime location right by the beach, which I loved. It felt safe and was a beautiful spot for pictures, although the beach was sometimes crowded with locals.
Dining
5.0
The only restaurant open during my stay was the hotel cafe, but the food options there were pretty limited, and the hours were inconsistent. I was disappointed by the dining choices overall.
Facilities
5.0
The pools were nice, clean, and well-maintained. However, other facilities felt outdated, like the fitness center, which lacked lockers and proper shower facilities.

My stay at The Condado Plaza Hotel had its highs and lows. The ocean view from my room was absolutely stunning, and the staff at the cafe provided really great service. However, I encountered some issues with the check-in process and cleanliness in certain areas, which left a bit of a sour taste in my experience.

Rooms

I loved having an ocean-view room, but I did notice the room had some cleanliness issues and the hallway smelled musty. While my bathroom was pretty nice, it was disappointing to find dust in corners.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the cafe. However, my check-in experience was quite frustrating with long wait times and a lack of communication about available rooms.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated right on the ocean, making it super easy to enjoy the beach. I felt safe walking around the area at night, which was a huge plus for me.
Dining
7.0
The food at the cafe was great and reasonably priced, plus the staff there were great. However, the prices for food at other spots seemed a bit steep.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had nice facilities, including pools that had a good vibe, though I was frustrated to find issues with towels and some amenities not working well during my stay.

5.6/10

My stay at The Condado Plaza Hotel had its ups and downs. I loved the beautiful view from my balcony room and the small beach was lovely for swimming, but many amenities were still under renovation since the hurricane. The service was hit or miss, with delayed responses to requests and limited dining options. Overall, I feel it's overpriced until fully operational and staffed.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a great view from the balcony. However, the cleaning service was only every other day, which was a bit disappointing.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and courteous, but I found it frustrating that the phone system was down and my requests via text went unanswered for many hours. This made service inconsistent, especially at a price point of $250 per night.
Location
8.0
The location was fantastic, right by the beach and a short walk to other restaurants and the local market. It felt very safe and was easy to get to the cruise port and airport.
Dining
5.0
Food options were quite limited, with only one main restaurant available during reduced hours, and poolside service was lacking. While I enjoyed the excellent food at Cafe Caribe when it was open, it was disappointing that they didn’t offer lunch during my stay.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was nice and had some great features like a swim-up bar and a hot tub, but I was surprised by the absence of poolside service. Amenities were limited, and there was a fee for using certain facilities.
